Cyprus, member state of the European Union, is the third largest island of the Mediterranean Sea. This country presents a mixture of different cultures (Greek, Turkish and British), filled with an enriched history, traditions, religions all gathered up in beautiful natural landscapes. Cyprus is known to be the island of Aphrodite: the Goddess of beauty. Currently it is divided into two different countries: the Republic of Cyprus, where Greek culture and language are predominant and the Turkish Republic of Cyprus.
Thanks to its rich vegetation, the island is a true paradise, enriched by its very different landscapes: from the tip of its very green mountains to the all-year-round sunny beaches. Ancient Greek temples, Ancient Roman amphitheaters, Venetian and Byzantine architecture can all be admired in almost every corner of the island.
